First, my inspiration was this art piece….the author tries to express the damages of the UV lights in Earth and I thought the vivid colors could represent a heat sensor layer that could allow my Martian trees to grow….since I decided not to have ground cover because I do not think it was appropriate for my design….

 I picked this leaves texture to represent my heat layer colors…adding some effects in the Gizmo of the UV map…..and some lights created a transparent effect I was looking for. On the other hand, the texture for my trees’ barks was this green highlighted wood piece that I found….I thought it can combine to the effect I was looking for…

The doughnuts…well…I was eating at the time…and I couldn’t do the leaves of the Juniperus also….I thought good looking round eatable leaves could work just fine…..

I think that is pretty all to sum up…my idea of Martian Flora….

ummmm…about this project….I’ll have to get back to this tomorrow….

I know it’s not in the write order….but I have forgotten to post what we did in Sketch-Up so…here it is…

My group got the East Governmental Building…..

We had to take several pictures to modify and use….I had to go again for more…risky area….under construction at the time in the point where I was taking the pics….very risky…but it was a Sunday so….nothing big can happen in a Sunday morning =)….

My inspiration is based on how man changes natural landforms for his own adaptation…..even-though this planet is very different from Earth…. I am pretty sure it will change in a enormous way…just for commodity and style of every day life…..

My Proposal…..has an analysis of how Mars can change with time….

Well my inspiration was a windmill….mixed with robotic features….just to transform it….for the time it might be used…

It has robot arms…inspired in my brother’s “Transformer toys” that can grab elements and store them…just as many artifacts do in the book.
